A sanctuary for unconventional minds.
An invitation
Some minds are drawn to meaning, beauty and the unexplored. Soul Sanctuary is a place for them to rest, think and find their footing.
This is for open, curious minds: people who yearn for meaning, novelty and soul, and often feel there’s no obvious place for them in modern work and life. I know that restlessness from the inside.
I offer mental health consultancy and personal development coaching from a biopsychosocial, systems-critical perspective. I look at distress in context: biology, psychology, relationships, culture, and the systems people live and work inside, including burnout, masking and neurodivergence, which many open, creative minds share.

Begin gently
A discovery call is a short, unhurried chat to see whether I’m the right fit for what you need.
Personal development coaching
For intellectual, creative minds who yearn for meaning and can’t find their place in the modern system.
You may recognise yourself if you are curious about everything, drawn to ideas, art and the unexplored, and quietly exhausted by work and expectations that ask you to be smaller. Perhaps you crave meaning, novelty and soul, and wonder why so much of modern life seems to have none.
You don’t need a diagnosis to be welcome here. You need only a wish to understand yourself with more honesty and more kindness.
A short, relaxed conversation about what brings you here and what you’d hope for.
I’ll agree a format and pace with you that respects your energy and sensory needs.
Guided conversation, reflective exercises and contemplative practices, adjusted as things unfold.
I offer coaching and consultancy. This is not a medical service, and I do not diagnose, treat or replace medical or mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency. Samaritans are available on 116 123.
Mental health consultancy
Making room for the creative, questioning minds that organisations depend on.
Standard wellbeing programmes are often designed for one kind of mind. Creative, intellectually curious and neurodivergent colleagues can find that the fixes on offer don’t fit how they experience stress, meaning, communication or recovery, and may feel there is no place for them.
I help teams understand neurodivergence and nervous system science in practical terms, so that wellbeing support becomes something people can use, not just something that exists on the intranet.
I look at the system as well as the individual: workloads, culture, policies and power. Resilience training alone can’t fix a workplace that wears people down.
Four areas of focus
Understanding early signs, chronic masking and the conditions that wear people down, so that load and recovery are better balanced.
Looking at how roles, environments and ways of working match the strengths and needs of the people in them.
People tend to stay where they can be themselves. Inclusion is a reasonable foundation for keeping talented colleagues.
Conversations that help managers respond with curiosity, clarity and flexibility.
An initial conversation to understand your organisation, your people and what you’re hoping to change.
A proposal shaped around your context, which may include workshops, talks, reflective sessions or leadership conversations.
Sessions delivered in accessible formats, with space to reflect on what is working afterwards.

My work supports wellbeing and inclusion. It is not a clinical service or a substitute for occupational health or legal advice.
Philosophy
The convictions that shape everything I offer.
Distress is rarely just inside a person. I consider biology, psychology and social context together, and ask who a system, a role or a model of wellbeing was designed for.
Neurodivergent ways of being carry their own logic, strengths and costs. I start by understanding, not correcting.
Sustained performance of who people think they should be can be exhausting. Burnout is often a signal about fit and load rather than personal failure.
Nervous system science helps explain why some environments drain people and others restore them.
Wellbeing is more than the absence of strain. Existential questions and contemplative practice belong in any honest account of a good life. Open, searching minds often need meaning, beauty and novelty as much as rest.
Individuals can learn about themselves. Organisations can change the conditions. Both matter.
About
An independent, UK-based practice for individuals and organisations.
I founded Soul Sanctuary as a quiet counterpoint to one-size-fits-all wellbeing, for people like me: intellectual, creative and restless for meaning, who haven’t found their place in the modern system. I’m a mental health consultant and personal development coach, and I take a biopsychosocial, systems-critical approach, bringing together neurodivergent experience, the science of the nervous system, personality, philosophy and contemplative practice.
I work with individuals who want to understand themselves more deeply, and with organisations who want to build workplaces that more kinds of minds can thrive in.
